Past Pieces

latest articles
Smile ! We hope you enjoy this collection of articles - long and short - about or based on the wonderful collections at Lancashire Archives.

Some are new but many have been published before, particularly in the annual reports of Lancashire Record Office from the 1950s up to the 1970s.

We want to pull together as many pieces as possible to create an online resource that helps describe Lancashire's archives and  gives voice to some of  the millions of stories from the county's past.

If you have anything to share, be it a snippet of information about an interesting document or a full-length article, let us know.
