Helping to safeguard Lancashire's archives for the future

We think archives are wonderful and irreplaceable; the building blocks of our history.
Lancashire Archives has been around since 1940, collecting and preserving the county's archival heritage so it can be explored and enjoyed by everyone, now and in the future. The Friends first came together in 1986, and since then we have raised over £75,000 to help promote and support the work of Lancashire Archives
